As our brand grows, we want our impact to grow with it. OYOO Smile exists to support organisations and initiatives that align with our values — from community inclusion and social upliftment to animal welfare and beyond.
Rather than creating separate charity collections, we integrate our giving into selected pieces within our OYOO Style range. When a product is connected to OYOO Smile, a clearly stated percentage of profits from that item is directed to the chosen cause.
This approach allows us to support multiple organisations over time, in a way that is intentional, transparent, and sustainable.

Why We Take This Personally
As an LGBTQ+ couple living in South Africa, we recognise our privilege. We also recognise our responsibility. That’s why OYOO doesn’t just say we support LGBTQ+ causes. We act on it.
In many African countries, being LGBTQ+ can still mean facing violence, discrimination, or imprisonment simply for existing. Same-sex relationships remain criminalised in over 30 countries, and in some places, people face life sentences or worse. Even where laws have changed, stigma and fear often remain deeply rooted. These are not distant headlines. These are real people — our community — living with daily risk.
